I know you’re trying to figure out if you’re on the right path. You’re giving it all you got, and the return hasn’t been as great as you thought it’d be. The payoff isn’t exactly paying off, and thoughts of leaving certain things behind are taking over your mind. You’re probably wondering how I know you’ve been struggling with this, and I’m here to remind you if you’ve forgotten, that you are not alone in the way you feel.

We’ve all been there.

Listen, Gem. You don’t need praise to solidify or confirm your success. With or without acknowledgment from others, your wins, whether small or grand, matter. They still exist. They’re still valid, and you’re still doing the best you can with the unique skills and competence that you were blessed with.

Do yourself a favor. Start showing up like you know exactly who you are and what you’re positively capable of. Yes, even if you don’t have it all figured out right now.

Do we ever have it all figured out?

Gem, you really have to stop being so hard on yourself. You deserve grace. Yes, even on your off days, and especially on the days you want to throw in the towel. It’s time you show up for yourself as well as you’ve always shown up for others.

So, tell me, what’s more important? What other people, who will sometimes deliberately misunderstand you and your purpose, think/say about you? Or what you think about yourself? Pardon me for overstepping, but I have to choose for you, Gem. Your mind may be a little too clouded by everything you have going on right now, but I’m also here to remind you that what you think/say about yourself is much more important.

If only you could get that through your head, you’d shock yourself. You’d soar and thrive in your own lane.

You deserve to make that happen for yourself!

With that being said, what are you going to do now? What are you going to do about the unacceptable ways you’ve been sleeping on yourself and your full potential? It’s time you stop doing that. It’s time you remember who are you!
